Tax rate information is used to calculate the sales tax on the Register Worksheet Reports and on the appropriate lines for each invoice.
You can filter and sort the records displayed.
NOTES
You cannot remove a tax rate that is in use.
In Canada, you cannot add, edit, or remove the tax codes.

TIPS
For units with cash receipts, add a Tax Code that relates to the taxability of the cash receipts. Tax Codes can also be added for city, county, beverage, and other taxes.
If a customer invoice tax rate is different from the cash tax rate, you can add Tax Codes that define the taxability on customer invoices. This is useful when customers are located in another county or state.
For best results, the Tax Description should be 16 characters or less.
